Rev. Angelo O. Valle (MAR, Westminster Theological Seminary) is the pastor of Christ Reformed Church in Alexandria, PA (www.CRCalexandria.org).
Rev. Angelo Valle came to Christ Reformed Church in the summer of 2013, soon after graduating from Westminster Theological Seminary. In his time at Christ Reformed Church, he has greatly enjoyed helping the church celebrate their historical Reformed roots in teaching and in worship.
As an Orthodox Presbyterian Minister, in the Central PA Presbytery, he continues his education as he works towards further degrees in Historical Theology. He is an avid reader of Puritans like John Owen and John Bunyan as well as the ancient Church in pastors such as St. Augustine, Athanasius, and John Chrysostom. He is presently a PhD candidate at Westminster Theological Seminary in Systematic Theology looking to pursue further study in the continuities and discontinuities of the first generation Reformers and their relationship to Thomas Aquinas.
Rev. Valle met his wife Marie Valle at their alma mater, the University of Valley Forge. Marie went on to graduate with two Bachelor degrees (Business Administration and Children’s Ministries). Marie is presently working on a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary and is indispensable as Rev. Valle’s “right hand” for all things related administration, event planning and marketing. Marie is also committed to home schooling their children.
The Valle home celebrates their family of five: Jonathan (5 years old), Eliana (“Ellie” – 3 years old), and Thea (nearly 1 year old), plus a chocolate Labrador retriever, Ace. Jonathan is in 2nd grade and an avid reader of Church History, Star Wars and Captain Underpants. Eliana is all about princesses and her very refined “stinky” cheese parties with her daddy. Thea is learning how to walk, developing her limited vocabulary, and committing herself to slowly driving her siblings insane. Besides being with his wife & children, Rev. Valle enjoys reading theology & history, taking walks with his family, hunting, and experimenting with new recipes.
